While hemp, peas, and the other ingredients themselves do not contain gluten, Hemp Yeah! Plant Protein Blend cannot currently be certified Gluten Free due to the potential for very low levels of foreign seed contamination (ex. wheat kernels) from the field where these crops were grown.
We thoughtfully selected Pea Protein for our Hemp Yeah! Plant Protein Blend to deliver amazing taste, texture, mixability, and nutritional benefits. When combined, Hemp and Pea Protein have a more balanced Amino Acid profile (Hemp Protein is low in Lysine but high in Cystine, Pea Protein is the opposite) plus both are sustainable sources of protein and easy to digest, allowing for maximum absorption.
No, we don’t use Stevia in any of our protein powders or other products. We always aim to use ingredients that are natural and minimally processed. Stevia is often processed with other non-natural products and it adds a metallic taste to most products. We use Organic coconut sugar to sweeten Hemp Yeah! Plant Protein Blend and Organic cocoa and natural flavors to enhance the taste.
