Quality starts at the source. We’re involved in the entire process of growing our hemp seeds, including working directly with Canadian farmers and having a say in how our non-GMO hemp seeds are cultivated.
Non-GMO Project Verified
All of Manitoba Harvest’s hemp foods are NON-GMO Project Verified. This process involves a rigorous and comprehensive 3rd party evaluation of all our ingredients and manufacturing facilities for compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard. Currently, our Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract products are made with non-GMO ingredients. Currently, Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract cannot be non-GMO verified because CBD is classified as a controlled substance in Canada.

Safety and Traceability
Our Hemp Hearts go through more than 34 tests throughout the production process before leaving our facility. We track each hemp seed as it comes into our facility and can trace every hemp product back to the field it was grown on. Only the most tested, trusted hemp products will reach your table.
GRAS Status
Manitoba Harvest’s complete line of hemp food products have received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance as Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) as of December 2018. Hemp Hearts have always been safe, but this status is an indication that we are committed to maintaining the highest possible quality standards for all our products.
