Ingredients
For the Apples:
- 4 Apples, diced
- 2 tbsp. Almond meal
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
For the Topping:
- 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp. Coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 2 cups Rolled oats
- 1/2 Chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts
- 1/2 cup Almond meal
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 glass baking dish with coconut oil.
- In a medium bowl, toss the apples with almond meal and cinnamon and spread evenly in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the coconut oil and honey together.
- Add the oats, pecans, almond meal, cinnamon, Hemp Hearts, and salt to a large bowl and stir until combined.
- Add in the coconut oil and honey mixture and stir until combined.
- Put the oat mixture on top of the apples and spread out until all of the apples are covered
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes, then slice, serve and enjoy.
