Spicy Hemp Hummus

Servings: 4 cups


  • 3 cups Organic Canned Chick Peas
  • 1/2 cup Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts
  • 1/4 cup Manitoba Harvest hemp oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 2 tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Red Miso
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper


Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend on low, stopping to turn the mixture until smooth. Hummus is a wonderful dip for fresh vegetables or pita bread. It can be used as a filling for sandwiches, wraps and rolls. Can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 4 days.
